The Assessments Activity page (Analytics > Assessments) shows the current status of every assessment in a cycle. Here's what each status means and what to do next.

In Progress - Report The employee is still working on their self-assessment. At this stage, the assessment will not be visible to and Admin.

In Progress - Manager The employee has submitted their self-assessment and the manager has not yet submitted their draft. Admins (and skip-level managers of the employee) can view the assessment draft at this stage forward.

Manager Draft Submitted The manager has finished rating all competencies and submitted their draft — but has not yet shared the results with the employee. The manager can still edit their ratings at this stage. This status means the assessment is ready for your review or a calibration sweep before results go out.

Ready to Calibrate The manager has shared the assessment results with the employee. Both parties can now see the side-by-side comparison. The calibration conversation can happen. The manager can still update ratings until they submit the final version.

Finalized The manager submitted the final version. Ratings are now official, locked to the employee's profile, and the assessment is read-only. Only an admin can reopen a finalized assessment.

Closed The assessment was manually closed by an admin before it was finalized — either because the cycle ended while it was still in progress, or an admin closed it individually. Ratings from a closed assessment are not applied to the employee's profile.
