How are achievements created?

  • An achievement is automatically created when users “level up”, i.e. when users get upleveled or receive a higher rating on a particular competency during an assessment. After an assessment, if the rating for a particular competency (or multiple) has increased from its previous state, then achievements are automatically created for each progression.

  • Users can also manually add specific competency-based achievements.

How do I manually add an achievement?

  • In Employee Profile > Achievements, there’s a “+” button to add an achievement.

  • When the Add Achievement button is pressed, a modal will render, requiring the user to add a title and a competency to the achievement. The user also has the option to add a description for the achievement.

  • When submitted, the achievement will render on the employee profile as “pending” until the user’s manager confirms the achievement.

How can I see all my past achievements?

  • In Employee Profile > Achievements, there’s an All button to see all achievements.

  • When the See All Achievements button is pressed, the user will get directed to a separate page listing all historical achievements.

Do achievements appear on future assessments?

  • Yes. During an assessment, a manager will be able to see their direct report’s achievements linked to the particular competency they are assessing.

  • Only achievements that were added since the last full assessment will be shown in the assessment. That way, the view doesn’t get too cluttered with outdated achievements.
