Pando is a continuous progression platform. But what adds the momentum to keep that flywheel of progress going? That's right: feedback!
Traditionally, most of your feedback has come from your manager, while many of the people who you work with regularly, and who feel the impact of that work, are peers or others at your company. Use the feedback feature to request feedback on your work or provide it to another.
Requesting Feedback
From your profile, click Request feedback, then select who you're requesting feedback from, the competency (or competencies) you're requesting feedback on, and the context behind the request. Then just click submit!
note: if you're a manager, you can request feedback for team members who report to you in Pando.
Providing Feedback
Did you work on a project with someone or see their greatness in action? You don't need to wait for them to request your feedback--send it on over!
To do so, head back to your profile and select Give feedback. Pick the person you'll be providing feedback to, the specific competency (or competencies), the rating, and most importantly, the written feedback itself!
Feeling stumped and not sure what to say? Use one of our optional templates to auto-generate structure for your feedback. These templates differ based on the type of feedback you are giving and are easy edit and personalize. Give it a try!
While transparency is helpful for coaching, there is a time and place for private feedback — feedback that is visible to only certain people There are two types of Private feedback you can give.
Peer to peer: You can give feedback directly to anyone without their – or your– manager seeing it.
Peer to manager: You can give feedback about someone directly to their manager without that individual seeing that feedback
When it comes to Private feedback in Pando, keep the following in mind:
There is no "public" feedback, meaning leaving the toggle un-checked (which is the most common behavior) doesn't mean someone's peers will see that feedback. Pando doesn't have public kudos or public constructive feedback
Private feedback is not anonymous
Admins are able to see private feedback unless the private feedback is about them to their manager, or was sent privately to one of their reports
Skip-level managers will be able to see feedback sent privately to an individual's manager, but not feedback sent privately to an individual.
Reacting to Feedback
Once you've received a piece of feedback, you have a couple of opportunities to interact with it! Head to your Feedback page to get started. Then click into the piece of feedback and select one of the emoji and/or add a comment. The provider of the feedback will be notified of each. Then, select whether the feedback was helpful or not--this data is only shared with account administrators, not the provider of the feedback.
