If you believe a team member is ready for the next level, you can submit an uplevel request through Pando. This process allows you to document their progress and accomplishments, ensuring that administrators have a clear view of their readiness for advancement.

Steps to Request an Uplevel

  1. Navigate to the Employee’s Quick View

    • Click on My Team from the main navigation menu.

    • Select Employee List and locate the team member you believe is ready for an uplevel.

    • Click on Quick View for that employee, then select Uplevel. This will take you to the Uplevel Request screen.

  2. Review Performance Details

    • On the Uplevel Request screen, you’ll see an overview of key information, including:

      • Actions and Goals: Progress and milestones the team member has achieved.

      • Achievements: Significant accomplishments since their last uplevel.

      • Assessments and Feedback: Performance evaluations and feedback from peers and managers.

    • This summary helps you present a well-documented case for why the team member is ready for the next level.

  3. Add Supporting Comments

    • In the comments section, include any additional insights on their performance, growth, or impact. Thoughtful commentary provides context for administrators when reviewing the request.

  4. Submit the Uplevel Request

    • Click Submit Uplevel to send the request to the administrators on your company’s Pando account.

What Happens After Submission?

  • Request Notification: When you submit the request:

    • All admins on the account will receive a notification

    • Your manager will receive a notification

    • The team member does not receive a notification

  • Approval Notification: If the uplevel request is approved:

    • You, your manager, and the team member will each receive a notification with the uplevel info.

  • Decline Notification: If the uplevel request is declined:

    • You and your manager will receive a notification, but the team member will not be notified of the declined request.

  • Timing of Notifications: The team member will only be notified when the request is officially approved, so you have the opportunity to share the good news personally before they receive an automated notification.

Communicating with Your Team Member

To ensure a smooth and positive experience, administrators are encouraged to delay the formal approval until you have had a chance to communicate the decision with the team member directly.
