How do I remove an employee from an assessment cycle?

Overview

Admins can close an individual employee's assessment to remove them from an active cycle. This is useful when someone shouldn't be assessed in the current cycle β€” for example, if they were added by mistake, recently joined, or are on leave.

Closing an assessment does not delete it. It moves to the Closed tab on the employee's assessment history and can be reopened later if needed.

Steps

Step 1: Go to the Employee's Profile

Navigate to Admin > Employees. Find the employee you want to remove from the cycle.

Step 2: Open Their Assessment History

Click the three-dot menu next to the employee's name and select Go to Assessments.

Step 3: Close the Assessment

Find the active assessment β€” it will show as "In Progress." Click Close next to the View Assessment button.

The assessment is now closed. It will no longer appear in the active cycle view for the employee or their manager.

What Happens Next

  • The employee and their manager will no longer see this assessment in their active Assessments tab.

  • The closed assessment appears under the Closed tab in the employee's assessment history.

  • If you need to re-add them to the cycle later, you can reopen the assessment. See How do I reopen an assessment in Pando?

Note: Only Admins can close or reopen assessments.
